Job Title: Steel Fixer

Location: Croatia

Working Hours: 8-12 hours per day

Salary: Minimum 900 Euro.

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled steel fixers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with steel bars and mesh in reinforced concrete structures. You will be responsible for positioning and securing steel bars or mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.

Responsibilities:

• Position and secure steel bars or mesh in concrete forms using wire, clips, bolts, or welding equipment.
• Shape steel rods, mesh, and rebar to specified dimensions using hand tools and machines.
• Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors.
• Cut and bend steel bars and mesh using power saws, cutting torches, and bending machines.
• Ensure the correct alignment and spacing of steel bars to ensure proper reinforcement of the concrete.
• Fasten steel bars together with wire, clips, or spot welding.
• Lay out the work and plan the tasks according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Work with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Steel Fixer or similar role in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to steel fixing.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work long hours.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
