Job Title: Shuttering Carpenter

Location: Croatia

Working Hours: 8-12 hours per day

Salary: Minimum 900 Euro.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with specific expertise in shuttering work. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures such as foundations, walls, and columns.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Assemble and secure formwork using nails, bolts, and other fasteners.
• Ensure formwork is properly aligned, leveled, and supported.
• Pour and spread concrete into the formwork, ensuring proper placement and compaction.
• Remove formwork once the concrete has set, ensuring no damage to the structure.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe worksite.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
