Job Title: Elevator Mechanic

Location: Austria

Working Hours: 8 hours

Salary: Per Hour 12.50/2400 Net.

Job Description:

As an Elevator Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of elevator equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair elevator systems, including motors, control panels, and safety devices
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and performance of elevator equipment
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Replace worn or faulty components and make adjustments to optimize elevator performance
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to address elevator malfunctions and breakdowns
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on job sites
• Provide technical guidance and support to apprentices and junior technicians

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized elevator mechanic apprenticeship program
• 01 year of experience in elevator installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of elevator codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
